We are excited to invite you to the next installment of our Discussions with Women in Pharmacy series, taking place on Tuesday, August 26th at 5:00 PM. This event will feature a special guest, Teresa Ash, PharmD, MHA, BCPS, a renowned leader in pharmacy and healthcare leadership. 

Dr. Teresa Ash is a skilled healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience. She currently serves as the System Director of Operations in Digital Health at UC Health, where she plays a key role in managing and improving digital health initiatives across the organization. She has led healthcare services across a continuum of care, including private ambulatory practices, outpatient settings, and inpatient facilities. She has been responsible for a wide range of clinical and non-clinical operations, demonstrating a commitment to improving healthcare delivery through innovative operational and digital solutions.  

A strong advocate for education and mentorship, Dr. Ash is committed to building effective teams and supporting women in healthcare leadership. In 2023, her passion for developing female leaders inspired her to co-found The Healthcare She Suite, a digital platform that promotes and empowers women leaders. Most recently, she has directed the deployment of several AI-driven tools to enhance clinical care, capacity management, charge capture, and staff engagement.  

She has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout her career, including the 2024 Becker’s Hospital Review COOs to Know, the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy's Preceptor of the Year, and an Ohio Healthcare Worker of the Year Nomination. In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Ash is an active member of ASHP, ACCP, ACHE, and the AHA.  She frequently speaks at conferences on topics related to digital health, pharmacy leadership, and operations management.   

Dr. Ash and her husband (the other Dr. Ash) live in Cincinnati. In their free time, they enjoy attending the numerous sporting and theatrical events the city has to offer. They are currently on a mission to hike all 63 National Parks.
