This workshop will review the requirements for the standards related to residency program design and conduct.  Workshops will include information, examples, scenarios, resources, idea-sharing, and plenty of time for questions!  Learn about the residency purpose statements and competency areas, educational goals and objectives, as well as requirements for residency program structure, orientation, learning experiences, preceptor roles, evaluation, resident development plans, and continuous residency program improvement. During the workshop attendees will be grouped based on new PGY1 programs, expanding PGY1 programs, established PGY1 programs, or PGY2 programs.  This will allow for focused discussions to better meet the needs of those attending.

Who should attend? Residency program directors, preceptors, residents interested in precepting/starting a residency program, pharmacists interested in starting a residency.  Space for this event is limited!

Where: The Crowne Plaza Columbus North Hotel, 6500 Doubletree Ave, Columbus, OH 43229
